Invincible

Was over at Dlisted and caught wind of the “50 Worst Albums Ever Recorded” according to Q magazine.

Some of the more notable listmakers (which can be found in our personal collection) include Destiny Child’s
Destiny Fulfilled, Naomi Campbell’s baby woman, Michael Jackson’s Invincible, Alanis Morisette’s Supposed Former Infactuation Junkie, and Shania Twain’s Come On Over (Gasp) – surprised us.

We think those albums should be replaced with some other craptastic music noise from notable artist… i.e. Mary J. I didn’t think MJ’s Invincible album was all that bad. I mean, no, it wasn’t Thriller or Bad, but there were some good songs on the Invincible album.

Tevin Campbell’s Back to the World was bad. And don’t get me started on those braids he had in his hair in the video.

    HI Rocka!!!

Ummm, yeah, that list sucks! No to MJ-Invincible, it was a pretty decent album; no to Destiny Fufilled, there were some really good ballads on that one; and I disagree with Lauryn Hill. I don’t think it was her best, but I definitely don’t think it deserves to be on the 50 worst list.

What is the criteria for this list anyway? These people are mad!!!

Ummm, why is Lauryn on here? That album was not bad at all. Obviously some people didn’t HEAR what she was saying, they instead, listened to her. Overstand?

ummm… Lauryn’s unplugged album was garbage. It was one long song of a her playing the same chord over and over… it was very… ‘I wrote a song about it, wanna hear it, here it go…’

    Destiny fulfilled? Trippin.

Invincible had some nuggets on there that I hope on this new one – he recycles and gets the right distribution behind it. The work that Rodney Jerkins did on that CD was as close to Off the Wall and Thriller as we are EVER going to get. Break of Dawn, Heaven Can Wait, Butterflies and Rock My World – should have just been an EP and call it a day! check those songs out if you’ve forgotten what Mike can be capable of.
