I knew there was something I liked about the Timberlake, Timbaland & T.I. threesome cut “My Love” from Justin’s Future Sex/Lovesounds.

But it wasn’t exactly the song. Although “My Love” will probably become a monster hit for JT & Co., down the road, it was a record label produced chant over the track that really stuck in my head.

The leaked internet version had this gravely voiced DJ repeatedly saying “Atlantic Records for T.I. Clearance,” which was so infectious, days later I found myself still repeating that chant. It seems I wasn’t the only one in a trance from that phrase considering T-shirts have now sprung up with the iconic phrasing. And since any good buzz doesn’t happen without a remix, Cousin Cole has produced a track with just the chant, surprisingly I like his version better than the original song.

S.r… This post is a little convaluted, but in essence I was saying that the warning the label put over the track “My Love,” so that it wouldn’t be leaked to radio, was hotter than the track itself… And someone made a song using the warning.
