The most common misconception in regards to writers - they can’t be sexy… Case in point, when was the last time your favorite novelist was featured on Maxim, King or even Playgirl?

Enter Zabedy, a talented writer, model, and musician whose debut novel, Pink Pigs and the War Kids, proves that writers don’t have to remain behind the scenes. Voted “The Most Beautiful Man in the World” by mostbeautifulman.com, we decided that London based Zabedy would be perfect fodder for our four random questions feature.

RC: Where did you get the name Zabedy and what does it mean?

Z: I didn’t [come up with it] my father did, it’s an old city name.

RC: Do you find that people pay more attention to your image than your art? Does that bother you?

Z: Not really, I guess they like the whole package.

RC: You’re also a writer, tell us about your book?

Z: It’s an Anti-War photo book called Pink Pigs and the War Kids it’s about war effect on children’s mind and it show’s how these kids see the war and what it’s left in their minds.

RC: It’s Friday night at 11pm, what is Zabedy doing?

Z: Sitting at a desk working on my screenplays and books. I work all the time and I like it that way.

I saw your link on hi5.com. Your book sounds like a wonderful read. I just searched my local public library’s online catalog and came up blank. (I don’t usually have the money to buy books for myself.) Thus, I’ll petition them to obtain a copy so that I can read it. Once I read it, I’ll gladly post a review for others to know about it.

I am just wondering why the most talented of a globe make it to an Anglo-sphere?

Surely, with all known/not-so-known to outsiders local xenophobia and racist issues, there is something much cleaner in the air here.

Good luck in the States-surely, England is too foggy for you.
