Memphis native Brandon Parker used to make most of his moves on the football field, but now that he’s been bitten by the modeling bug - he’s also scoring in front of the camera. We recently caught up with the former football star, and made him answer some crazy questions.
Rocka.Candy: It’s Friday @ 11 pm, what are you doing?
Brandon Parker: Friday night at 11pm, I’m usually at my favorite night club (Silver Spoon) doing my two step, dreading the early morning 2 mile run that I do every Saturday morning.
R.C.: Have you ever been jealous of another model’s portfolio?
BP: I don’t really look at other model’s portfolios, I feel that consistently looking at other models portfolios will eventually lead to cloning; either the outfit, or the pose, or even the facial expressions. I usually look at photographer’s work to see if I need to work with them to get more looks for my own portfolio.
R.C.: What makes your look unique?
BP: My ears and my smile would have to be my most unique feature, although I do hear that my “ass-et” isn’t too bad either… [he laughs].

R.C.: What makes a person sexy?
BP: Blunt honesty is so damn sexy to me it’s stupid (weird isn’t it)…..I love a woman that can come right out and say what she wants. Don’t get it twisted, I still love a little cat and mouse from time to time just to keep the old school dating alive, but sometimes save us both a lot of time and get to the damn point!
R.C.: How does your family/significant other feel about your more racier photos?
BP: Well of course my parents aren’t to thrilled with seeing their son bare ass on the internet… but they are very supportive of my career; as well as my fiance, I don’t think any woman would want to see their future husband groping another naked woman, but once we established that is was just work and no play everything smoothed out.
R.C.: How did you get into modeling, who or what made you feel you could do it?
BP: I know a lot of aspiring models might not like this but I didn’t want to be a model at all, my dreams were to play in the NFL - which I’m still chasing - but I was in the mall shopping and an assistant for Tarrice Love (the photographer) stopped me and asked me if I was a model, I laughed and said, “No” - like there was something wrong with being a model - then she asked me if I wanted to be one.
I thought about it for a minute and said, “What the hell I don’t have anything to lose”. After seeing the potential that I had for being a model I quickly switched my focus to modeling. I have enjoyed every single moment of it, from the first photo shoot, to the extreme work outs, to even the very painful poses that you might see me in. I love it.
