I know understand why Ginuwine complained to R.C. recently about Timbaland dissing him to work with less ethnic artist – it turns out he can’t get a real record deal without Timb.
According to Billboard.com,
The R&B singer says he was persuaded to sign on May 8, 2007, with King Music Group Inc., a company that a personal acquaintance, Michael Bourne of Memphis, Tenn., said he owned. Since signing he has yet to receive an advance or any money at all, and as of press time, there are no listings for King Music Group.
It’s a sad state of affairs when you have to sue people just to get your advance money? Do you think it’s time for Ginuwine to come back groveling to Tim for whatever wrong he’s done… or is it time to apply at the post office? And how soon before we are reading the exact same scenario for Tweet?
