Young Americans

The weekend mayhem included seedy Lower East Side bars intermingled with The Young Americans – as expected, debauchery ensued.

In my mind, it was 1984 all over again.

In between mixes of classic Eric B & Rakim, and the Pointer Sisters being "Automatic," (You have to love NYC’s randomness), the DJ drop this banger on us, entitled "The Cold Act."  The Young American’s, an LA based elctronica band, are on the cusp as the next big it electronica band, i.e. Justice – and we don’t even think they know it yet. I found the track online via Discobelle.net
