Her Name is Nicole and she’s a straight jacker!
After much success with the pop girl group Pussy Cat Dolls, Nicole Schwerzinger began working on a solo effort titled, “Her Name Is Nicole”. It appears that the pop amazon wants to introduce herself to the world, but is anyone listening or caring? Her first single “Whatever U Like” which featured production by mega-producer Polow Da Don and a raunchy verse from Atlanta’s own T.I, proved how much the world really cared about Nicole. With some of the biggest producers and names standing behind her, the world still does not care. We get the point that she is sexy, but does she have anything else to offer? Her debut album, My Name is Nicole, has been pushed back numerous times and now it is stated for an unknown 2008 release. Maybe once she pick up some originality she could pick up a release date and a few fans.
While “Whatever U Like” is collecting dust at your local radio station take a listen to Chilli’s “Straight Jack” which features female rap phenomenon Missy and the same beat as “Whatever U Like”. Chilli recorded her song a couple of years ago and Polow then shopped the beat around. The famed TLC singer leaked the track herself early this year knowing that the beat was sold. Expect her solo debut some time soon with production by Will.I.Am, Timbaland, Missy, Akon, T-Pain, Dallas Austin, and many more.
