Should the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha be flattered or pissed? As a member of a real fraternity, I’m not sure how honored I’d feel if a bunch of lesbians decided to imitate our process and being… just my personal opinion.
I would be offended if I was in a fraternity and another group co-opted our rituals and used them as their own. Thats just not cool at all
Everything has it’s own place and a PROPER TIME AND PLACE for its OWN existence. Being part of a Greek organization, I think what they’re doing is NOT what any of our founders had intended on any of the fraternities or sororities to go. If they want to do the gay thing and have something, there are plenty of letters to play with! Make your own society and have at it. Leave the original fraternities and sororities alone! Toot your horns somewhere else! It’s not cool!
