So TLC‘s reality show ‘R U That Girl’ really didn’t find the girl, and 3D was weirder than the time T-Boz was caught touching herself – so how does Chilli and T-Boz rebuild and re-brand?

The smart move would be to launch solo careers similar to every girl group in the history of American music, but that didn’t really pan out for either of the remaining members.  RC‘s suggestion would be to seriously recruit a new member – a raptress down on her luck or just getting her feet wet in the game -  and launch one last TLC album.  Who knows, they may even be able to eek out a Danity Kane style tour from the deal.

Kid Sister

So she’s not the strongest rapper in the world, but let’s be honest, no one’s quoting Left Eye these days either, so maybe she could slide in between Chilli and The Boz.

The best thing about KS is that she already has a Kanye West track under her belt, so teaming up with TLC would not only raise her profile, but also ensure a Mr. West appearance on a TLC album – for better or worse.  She’s also a little country, which would mesh well with TLC’s Atlanta ways.

Natina Reed

Remember the chic from the 90′s group Blaque, the TLC inspired trio that not only aped TLC but also featured a Lil’ rap tyke named Natina Reed. She could easily be Lisa Lopes’ doppleganger, not only in looks but sonically also.

It’s years later, and Blaque’s not making any reprisals, so why not have a Left Eye sanctioned young rapper play in the big leagues.  The only downside to this grouping despite likely producing the most TLC esque sound, would it ‘boom like an 808′ with the public?

Lil’ Kim

You may laugh, but if you think about it Kim may be the most logical choice of all.

For starters, her name begins with an ‘L,’ so they wouldn’t even have to change the name of the band.  She’s also Left Eye approved, considering Kim used Left Eye on the “Ladies Night,” remix and video.  Besides, they don’t call her ‘Lil’ by mistake, height wise the trio would look pretty good on stage together.  And this pairing could possibly cause more press then those sordid Left Eye fires, it may be a good look just to pay some bills for all the parties involved.
