Shemar Moore somehow snags the cover of Men’s Fitness Magazine.

Check out Shemar Moore showing off his muscles all over the cover of Men’s Fitness Magazine.

I’ve mentioned before that a change of direction in the type of celebrities garnering covers of this fitness glossy was imminent. Shemar as the main image is particularly interesting since his cover follows LL Cool J and Jaime Foxx – two other non-athletes. You’ll never find black guys who aren’t in uniform getting the cover of Men’s Health in that type of succession. Kudos to Men’s Fitness for leveling the playing field – now if only someone cared about Shemar Moore anymore.

One of these covers should hit newstands soon, which one do you think MF should rock?

Me thinks the one in the tank. Not really into Shamar but that cover would make me look twice.

I think the pic in the heather gray t-shirt is a better choice because I’m not sure how natural his hands look folded underneath his biceps in the first pic, thus making the picture look too coerced. The second choice is a more relaxed way of presenting the same point.

As far as SM is concerned, I’ve always preferred him a little scruffy, a little unkept. He’s such a beautiful man that he can sometimes border “pretty” and lose a lot of his masculinity in the process. I think he does best when he downplays it.

I like the tank better since there is a choice. it’s a fitness magazine for gods sake…and those arms make me wanna do a push up or something. Gives me hope!
