The one thing that I love about twitter is following random celebrities and catching their unfiltered views. Sometimes those tweets can come off a bit neurotic and needy (i.e. Solange Knowles, John Mayer) and other times you get the sense that real genuine person behind the feed (i.e. Martha Stewart, Q-Tip). And then there are those celebs that spew gold every time they log on a tweet deck… this is where Badu enters.
Since becoming @fatbellybella in twitland, Badu has created some revolutionary updates.
Instead of dropping an album, she dropped Jay Electronica’s seed whilst a twit, then in another unprecedented move she twitted first-hand about a recent stalker’s capture in front of her home (Solange could never muster this much real life drama) – the best part per Badu said stalker was a ‘white chick rocking a Dilla t-shirt.’ Similar to life, it’s not in the big events where Badu shines, it’s in those small moments, where nothing seems to be in motion, Badu shows her true charm.
