His voice is truly amazing, but as you stated, when Chris Brown came out he was young and cute, and he had his dancing thing, Ne-Yo is a helluva songwriter, so he still scored big even when a more talented artist carried his tune for him. Trey’s talent is the real deal, but he got screwed because when he came out, he’d just missed being part of the R Kelly, Joe, and JoJO & K Ci era, and he definitely would’ve killed vocally, with the grown and sexy sound, but he was so young, who would’ve taken him seriously? Anyway, Trey’s career is lifting off as it should be, and he’s managed to increase his fanbase by catering to his fans more, doing outstanding outreach work, and now he’s also rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in the music industry, namely, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, Usher, just to name a few. Funny, he never had to beat a chick down in public, and his sexuality has never been called into question, and you mean to tell me he still can’t make it to the top on Billboard?
